Tummy Tuck 360™ in Austin, TX

DO YOU WANT TO LOOK AS GOOD FROM THE BACK AS YOU DO FROM THE FRONT?

Many women look at ‘before and after’ galleries of tummy tucks and thought, ‘Wow, these women look great from the front, but they don’t look any different from the back.’ Or do some of them look ‘boxy’ to you from the front? Dr. Ashley Gordon and Dr. Reid often thought the same, so instead of accepting the status quo, they refined a more comprehensive approach to abdominal contouring with Tummy Tuck 360™.

Tummy Tuck 360™ not only transforms the abdomen from round to flat but also reduces the entire trunk by combining a tummy tuck with 360 lipo to address back fat, bra rolls, and hip (muffin top) appearance. Viewing the front and the back as a unit creates results that are quality improvements and skin tightening that is difficult to achieve with a traditional tummy tuck alone. It is such a powerful transformation that the doctors often refer to it as their ‘torso wrap’ procedure.

TELL ME MORE ABOUT HOW THE TUMMY TUCK 360™ PROCEDURE WAS DEVELOPED?

Plastic surgeons have been performing tummy tucks, or abdominoplasty procedures for decades with great success. A traditional tummy tuck involves removing excess skin and fat from the belly button area, are greatly improving the look, however the separation of the paired abdominal muscles in the midline.

Dr. Gordon and Dr. Reid regularly performed standard tummy tucks but found that while patients were thrilled with their frontal stomachs and waistlines, some patients expressed disappointment over little or no visible change in the back. The traditional technique did not always allow Dr. Gordon to achieve the ‘before body, 360° result’ they wanted for their patients.

As we all know, pregnancy and weight fluctuations do not only change the body from the front; they also affect the sides and back. People tend to get bigger or thicker as they expand, and gain those love handles. They may be carrying that weight on their front, yet the back looks significantly different from the back.

Traditional plastic surgery training often discouraged surgeons from combining a tummy tuck with liposuction because of perceived risks and complications. Fortunately, new evidence-based techniques and more established methods such as 360 Lipo™ have made it possible to address significant body concerns in a safer, more comprehensive way.

The Tummy Tuck 360™ Difference

After learning about the SAFELipo® technique, Dr. Reid and Dr. Gordon traveled to Shreveport, Louisiana to train with its creator, Dr. Simeon Wall, Jr., becoming one of the earliest adopters of this technology.

This experience and training allow them to safely and routinely combine liposuction with their tummy tuck procedure to create a more complete, more refined circumferential body-contouring approach.

Many patients experience a dramatic transformation not only in the abdominal area but also along the entire trunk, from the bra roll to the top of the buttocks. Because of these all-around results and patient satisfaction, Tummy Tuck 360™ has become one of Restora Austin’s most requested procedures.

Is the Tummy Tuck 360™ right for me?

Tummy Tuck 360™ results can be dramatic. When considering this option, patients should understand that the combination surgery requires additional operative time and is, therefore, more expensive than a traditional tummy tuck.

At your consultation, Dr. Reid or Dr. Gordon will evaluate your concerns and discuss your options to help determine which procedure is best suited to your goals and anatomy.
